The Vital Health Fingertip Pulse Oximeter, FPO-1212, is a non-invasive at home medical device with Health Canada approval (Licence #110490). The FPO-1212 is powered by 2 x AAA batteries, that are included with the device. It measures oxygen saturation in the blood (SpO2) as well as heart rate by utilizing light-emitting diodes and an optical detector.
The most common cause of low blood oxygen is an underlying illness, such as COVID and other respiratory infections. These can affect blood flow or breathing and contribute to various heart and lung conditions. A Vital Health Fingertip Pulse Oximeter can detect decreases in blood oxygen saturation indicating when potential medical intervention may be necessary.
FPO-1212 is small, lightweight, and portable, making it convenient to use at home or on the go. It provides accurate readings quickly and easily on it's dual color OLED screen. The screen has 360 degree rotation, enabling it to be read from any angle.
The Vital Health Fingertip Pulse Oximeter is Bluetooth compatible. Download the Joytech Health & Fitness App from the recommended stores; "Google Store" for Android users and "App Store" for IOS users. Follow instructions in the manual to connect successfully. The APP interface displays blood oxygen value, pulse rate value, pulse waveform and historical data curve. The "Home" page of the APP displays the last 3 historical data readings. The "Curve" page of the APP displays a graph with all historical data of any date in the past.
